Despite his cuddly appearance, he’s surprisingly scrappy. Always first into the ruck, always last to take credit – rugby is a “gentlelion’s sport” after all. Off the field, he’s all soft paws and shy smiles. A lion of few words – unless it’s about scrum technique, in which case: pull up a chair.
