As with most of the Busatti fabrics, it is not easy to trace its origins. This counts as well for the "Donna di Coppe" jacquard fringed towel. The main element, the goblet, is a representation that has been metaphorically transferred from a 1800 Lucca painting. Famously used for decades, notably in theater curtains, the "Donna di Coppe" revisits the memory of the past in a modern way.
